Parents have been urged to ensure adequate training of their children in Islamic and Western education to enable them become good leaders in future.

Dr Mahmud Danjuma gave the advice while delivering a lecture at the Closing Ceremony of Kwara State Qur’an Recitation Competition organized by the State Committee on National Qur’an Recitation Committee, in Kwara state.
Dr Danjuma who charged Muslims to uphold the Qur’an to overcome their challenges urged wealthy Muslims to always support Qur’an Memorizers with their ward to received abondant reward from God.
In his welcome address, Chairman Kwara state Committee on National Qur’an Recitation Competition, Alhaji Shehu Abdulgafar said the competition showcased winners of first and second positions in all categories of the state competition
He applauded the state government for it’s support and allocation of land to the Committee to establish Centre For Qur’an Memorization in the state
In his address, the Emir of Ilọrin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu -Gambari represented by the Balogun Alanamu of Ilọrin, Alhaji Abubakar Atolagbe Jos commended the participants for putting effort to memorize the Qur’an.
He advised them to ensure full usage of the knowledge learnt for the benefit of mankind.
Meanwhile, first position winners of the categories in the just concluded State Competition, Ustaz Haroon Hassan Bolakale from Kwara Central and others are to represent Kwara State in the National Qur’an Memorization Competition billed for 18th of December in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State Capital.
