Jigawa State Government says it has spent over one hundred and sixty four Billion naira as support to the small and medium Entrepreneur’s in the state.
Governor Umar Namadi stated this in Dutse local Government secretariat, while launching the disbursement of ATM cards to the beneficiaries of National cash transfer program.
He explained that the amount was expanded by the state Youths Empowerment and Employment Agency through the state COVID-19 action recovery and economic stimulation.

Mallam Namadi further explained that, about twenty three thousand people will benefit from the cash transfer of seventy five thousand naira in the state.
He pointed out that, this is inline with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda of supporting the less privilege in the society to improve their businesses.
Namadi therefore, called on the beneficiaries to make good use of the funds for the betterment of their families.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the state and federal government for the support.
They also pledged to ensure judicious use of the cash assistance.
