The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has vowed to saked Commissioners and Special Advisers who performed below expectations of government and their people.
The Governor gave the warning while assenting to 2025 Budget in the state.
Governor Idris, therefore urged Commissioners and Special Advisers to adjust, tighten their belts and go close to their people, listen to their plights and assist them where necessary.
“Every commissioner and special adviser must be with his people and only those who perform well and carry their people along would remain in the cabinet” he added.
On the budget, the Governor expressed happiness being the leader added that the budget will add value to the lives of Kebbi people.
While appreciating the lawmakers for their wisdom to have kept every other things aside and concentrated on the budget, the governor assured that his administration would do everything possible to improve the lives of Kebbi people
He promised to translate the budget into reality by touching lives in the grassroots so that people at the rural areas feel the impact of government.
Presenting the Bill to the Governor, the Acting Speaker, Kebbi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammadu Bagudo, said the House has passed the Bill and put it forward for the Governor’s assent.
