The Ondo State Police command says it is investigating an occurrence of killings of some persons in Owo area of the state.
The PPRO , Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya made this known while speaking with newsmen on reports of killing of a prominent youth leader, Mr Fisayo Oladipo, popularly called ” Fissy ” and three other persons in a cult clash.
The PPRO however said normalcy had returned to the ancient town of Owo through the intervention of the Police while also trailing the perpetrators for arrest.
Reports say gunmen suspected to be cult members shot dead Mr Oladipo early this morning resulting in a reprisal attack leading to the death of the others.
Mr Oladipo, 52, was was a former APC youth leader in Owo.
