The Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has approved the sum of N585 million for the payment of tuition fees of 100 State indigenes studying in various universities in India.
The State Commissioner for Higher Education, Isa Abubakar Tunga, who made this known while briefing newsmen stated that, this is in line with the state Governor’s effort towards promoting academic and moral excellence in the tertiary education.
He explained that the state government will soon settle contigency funds for those students studying in Egypt as they are under the Egyptian scholarship.
