Nottingham Forest are optimistic Ola Aina will not leave the club anytime soon.
Aina has six months left on his contract with the Tricky Trees.
The Nigeria international has attracted interest from Manchester City and Turkish club, Trabzonspor.
The Tricky Trees manager, Nuno Espirito Santo is however optimistic the defender and his teammate, Chris Wood will pen an extension.
“I think so. I think things are going well and the players are working very good,” the gaffer told a press conference on Friday.
The 27-year-old joined the Reds as a free agent from Italian club Torino in 2023.
Forest then extended his stay by a season last summer.
He has scored twice in 19 league appearances for the Premier League club this season.
