Arsenal moved back to second position in the Premier League after beating Brentford 3-1 away on Wednesday.
The hosts took the lead through Bryan Mbeumo in the 13th minute.
Arsenal however fought back with Gabriel Jesus nodding home the equaliser before half time.
Arsenal came out firing in the second half and Mikel Merino put them ahead five minutes after the restart.
Gabriel Martinelli scored three minutes later to put Mikel Arteta’s side in control.
The win lifted the Gunners above Chelsea and Nottingham Forest with 39 points from 19 games with Liverpool on 45 from 18.
Brentford remain in 12th spot with 24 points from 19 games.
