Nigeria’s Super Eagles secured first position in a number of statistics at the recently concluded 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The major statistics of the AFCON 2025 finals were released on the Confederation of African Football, CAF, official website on Thursday.
The Super Eagles were recognised as the highest-scoring team with 14 goals.
The West Africans also enjoyed the highest average possession in the competition (66%).
The three-time African champions were also the team with the most consecutive wins (five) in Morocco.
Nigeria finished third in the tournament with the Terangha Lions of Senegal winning the title for the second time.
