The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, will today, chair two key ECOWAS meetings in Abuja this week.
The minister will preside over the 53rd Meeting of the Mediation and Security Council of ECOWAS.
A statement by the acting spokesperson Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kimiebi Ebienfa in Abuja, says the Minister will also chair the 93rd Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Council of Ministers, scheduled for Thursday, December 12, and Friday, December 13.
The meetings will focus on promoting development, peace, security, and good governance across the West African sub-region.
