President Bola Tinubu has congratulated former President Muhammadu Buhari on his 82nd birthday.
In a statement signed by himself, President Tinubu he reflects on former President Buhari’s years of dedicated service and leadership, which have significantly shaped the course of Nigeria.
He says the former President’s steadfast commitment to Nigeria’s advancement and unity inspires many, noting that his enduring legacy has continued to guide the country’s journey towards prosperity and stability.
President Tinubu says the former President Buhari’s doggedness and resilience in contesting Presidential Elections in 2003, 2007, and 2011 before winning them in 2015 and 2019 also inspire many never to give up.
The President pledges to continue to build on the infrastructure legacy the former President has bequeathed to the nation, as the leader of the country’s first APC Administration.
He prays Allah to surround the former President with the love of his family and friends, and continue to enjoy good health, happiness, and fulfilment in all his endeavours, now and in the future.
While wishing him a Happy Birthday, he also demonstrates gratitude to him for his services to Nigeria.
