Presidential Adviser on Policy Communication Mr Daniel Bwala, says for now, President Tinubu is more focused on governance, delivering on the mandate and the promises to the people.
Mr Bwala made the remark when he visited the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.
On the various comments being made by some leading opposition figures ahead of the 2027 presidential election, he stated that the President is confident ahead of 2027.
Bwala who dismissed insinuations in some quarters that the outcome of the recent presidential election in Ghana in which the ruling party lost could have a chain reaction on the chances of President Bola Tinubu retaining power in 2027, said the president remained confident ahead of the polls.
“He is very focused on issues that bother the Nigerian people, to make sure that people come out of hunger, to make sure that Agriculture brings about the expected revolution, to make sure that our people are able to deal with their everyday problems.
“So, the time for politicking is not yet and when that time comes, we are going to be ready for everyone.
According to him, what the President is doing in redirecting the economy on the right path.
