To ensure a better and prosperous year 2025, the General Overseer of El-Bethel Prayer City Worldwide, Lagos State, Major General Apostle Preye Fakrogha wants the Federal Government to actively investment in agriculture and renewable energy for rapid economic diversification.
In his new year message, Major General Apostle Preye Fakrogha also called for measures that would enhance the country’s technological breakthrough for national development.
While identifying security and welfare of the citizens as primary function of governance, the General Overseer of El-Bethel Prayer City Worldwide enjoined Government at all levels to be committed to the yearnings and aspirations of the people in the new year.
” For the Federal Government to ameliorate citizen’s economic challenges required multi faceted approach and I will suggest that in 2025, the Federal Government should invest in sectors like the agriculture, manufacturing , renewable energy and infrastructural development to reduce the the nation’s dependence on oil export hence the need for the Government to give priority to building and maintaining as well as investment in critical infrastructures such as Education and skills development’, social safety net such as cash transfer, employment benefits to support vulnerable population, strengthening of the fight against corruption, enforcement of accountability measures and transparency in governance, human capital development’, Foreign Direct Investment, FDI, roads, bridges, efficient transpiration system noting that the coastline road network from Lagos to Calabar is one of them among others” He stated
Major General Preye Fakrogha Apostle who admonished Nigerians to keep hope alive in 2025 advised religious groups to always compliment the efforts of Government towards repositioning the country for better.
“As regards the religious groups, I believe that they have vital role to play towards ensuring a better Nigeria and this they can do by complimenting the efforts of Government in the areas of promoting peace and unity among Nigerians, fostering interreligious peace and dialogue, and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians , Community Development through the engagement of rural developmental projects, offering of moral guidance that would fast track national development and combat corruption, sensitizing followers on the need to uphold moral values such as honestly, transparency, integrity, compassion, advocating for programmes and policies that promotes social justice, equality and human rights as well as religious tolerance among one another” the General Overseer stressed.
While expressing the hope that Nigeria would soon take its rightful place among comity of nations, Major General Apostle Preye Fakrogha emphasized the need for all Nigerians to be committed to the continuous CORPORATE existence of the country.
“My message to all Nigerians is that of hope and residence, despite the current challenges being experience in the country in 2024 including economic hardship and I want to commend Nigerians for their strength and solidarity in 2024 and I believe and pray that with collective support, solidarity, energy and prayers in 2025, the country will definitely overcome its challenges and take its rightful place among comity of nations” He stated.
While congratulating Nigerians for making it to year 2025, Major General Apostle Preye Fakrogha said El-Bethel Prayer City Worldwide would continue to embark on spiritual teachings and programmes that would win souls for God’s kingdom and enhance national peace, unity and development’.
He therefore admonished the faithfuls to be steadfast in faith and prayers towards overcoming challenges in all their endeavours in the new year.
