A Non governmental Organization known as Yiaga Africa, has established the Not too Young to Run Hub at the Federal University Dutse in Dutse, Jigawa state.
At the function, a representative of the organization, Mrs Anthonia Onda explained that the decision to select FUD to be a hub, because of it performance at a youths debate recently held in Abuja.
Mrs Onda, commended the efforts of the students Union government of FUD, for building future quality leaders.
According to her, the establishment of the hubs is expected to guide the youths into active participation in politics and modify them for quality and good governance.
She also highlighted that Yiaga Africa has a mandate of building the capacity and interest of the young people to enable them participate actively in democracy and politics.
In a presentation, a facilitator Ibrahim Farouk, , explained that the concept of the not too young to run movement and its objectives allows participation of youths in democracy.
Speaking on behalf of the students, the Students Electroral Officer FUD, Mr Sani Sabo, commended Yiaga Africa for endorsing FUD to establish a hub.
