Over 30 million naira worth of Ramadan Package and cash grant has been distributed to 15,000 less privileged women, youth and the vulnerable people in Edu, Moro and Pategi local government area of Kwara .
Speaking at the distribution of the food items and cash grant, members representing, Edu/Moro and Pategi Federal constituency of Kwara state, Ahmed Adamu -Saba said the initiative is meant to alleviate the sufferings of the people in the area

According to him based on the economic realities today there is the need to support those at the grassroot.
Adamu – Saba said the items were given to members of the constituency irrespective of their political, religious or ethnic background.
He explained that another 10 million naira has been set aside to take care of those who were not captured in the initial arrangements.
The lawmaker said the gesture is in line with the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration of taking care of the less privileged and the vulnerable in the society.
In his remarks, on behalf of the community leaders in Edu, Moro and Pategi federal constituency, Alhaji Mohammed Kudu-Dumagi urged other wealthy individuals to emulate same in giving back to the society to reduce the hardship being experienced by the common man.
