The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, Mr Ikioye Orutugu, is currently on a security assessment tour in Onitsha to supervise and evaluate the deployment of police-led joint security forces at strategic locations.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Tochukwu Ikenga, explained that the exercise demonstrates the command’s commitment to maintaining peace, ensuring compliance with lawful directives, and preventing breaches of public order.
Mr Ikenga assured residents, traders, and commuters that the security situation in Onitsha remains calm and firmly under control.
