The All Progressives Congress, APC, primary Election Screening Committee, has cleared all seven aspirants to contest in the forth coming Anambra State Governorship Primary Election slated for Saturday, April 5, 2025.
The aspirants cleared by the Committee, chaired by the former Governor of Katsina state Ibrahim Shema, include Paul Chukwuma, Professor Obiora Okonkwo, Nicholas Ukachukwu and Chukwuma Umeoji.
Others are Valentine Ozigbo, Johnbosco Onunkwo and Edozie Madu.
A statement by Felix Morka, National Publicity Secretary of the APC, states that the Party has issued Certificates of Clearance to the aspirants.
The statement also notes that one of the cleared aspirants, Valentine Chineto Ozigbo, was granted a waiver by the Party to contest the Primary Election.
It further directs all members of the Party, including new and old members in Anambra state, to revalidate their membership as prescribed by the Party, ahead of the scheduled Primary Election.
