Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has strongly criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), describing its leadership as the “worst administration” he has witnessed in nearly four decades of political life.
Speaking at the launch of The Loyalist, a book by the National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, Atiku accused the APC of damaging the country’s national life more than even past military regimes.
Atiku, who was involved in the formation of the APC, expressed disappointment that the party had failed to fulfill its promises.
He emphasized the need for new political leadership and praised the ADC for bringing together diverse political views in an effort to reunite and renew Nigeria’s democratic journey.
He urged readers to view The Loyalist as more than just a story, but as a guide to collective responsibility, justice, and fairness for all Nigerians.
Atiku reiterated the importance of coming together to form a new political organization that could rescue the country for the benefit of its people.
