The Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has approved the appointment of Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government.
This is contained in a statement signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan in Akure.
The statement says the appointment came as the governor assumes duty in his office few minutes after he was sworn in as the 7th democratically elected Governor of the State.
According to the statement until his appointment as SSG, Dr. Fasoranti, who hails from Akure South local government area, was the Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board.
It adds that Governor also approved the reappointment of Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance .
Other reappointments are Special Advisers to the Governor on Power, Mr Johnson Alabi, women affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye, Union matters and special duties, Comrade Taiwo Bola health, Prof Simidele Odimayo while
the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Mr Abiola Olawoye has been elevated to the position of Special Adviser, Infrastructure, Lands and Housing.
The statement says the appointments take immediate effect.
