The Fight against Corruption in Nigeria might achieve greater feat as Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC trained, Passed out 169 Detective Assistant Cadets and equipped them with relevant Modern Skills against Economic and financial Crimes
At the Passing out Parade in the Nasarawa State, Governor Abdullahi Sule called on Leaders at all levels to support EFCC to maintain transparency and accountability, and advised the new Cadets to utilized the knowledge gained.
Governor Sule who appreciated the Federal government for the establishment of the Police training college at Ende Hills, Akwanga, a place formerly known with Bandits Hideout., urged the newly Detective Cadets to shun act capable to truncate confidence reposed on them.
EFCC Chairman, Mr Ola Olukoyede explained that the ongoing reform in the commission renewed agenda of President Bola Tinubu on zero tolerance to Corruption.
” Let me inform you all, the opportunity you have today is to work hard and join the fight Corruption which is part of the renewed agenda of President Bola Tinubu”. He stated.
The Chairman, House Committee on Financial Crimes, Mr Ginger Onwusibe tasked the new Cadets on professionalism, physical and mental fitness.
Commandant of the Training College, Commandant DCP Sunday Audu expressed optimism that the new Cadets would make positive impacts on the fight against corruption.
Commandant, EFCC Academy, CP Chinwe Ndubeze stressed that the Cadets had been trained and prepared to confront any Challenge.
Isiaku Ismail, Serifat Stephen and Muhammad Sanusi were among the graduating Cadets thanked God for the success of their training.
Highlight of the event was presentations of Awards for outstanding Cadets in Various Categories.
