The Interim National Chairman of the Labour Party, Senator Nenadi Usman, has called on Nigerians to embrace unity, responsibility, and renewed hope as Muslims across the country celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan.

The statement describs Eid-el-Fitr as a significant period that reflects discipline, sacrifice, compassion, and spiritual renewal values noting that these are vital not only for personal growth but also for national development.
It calls on Nigerians to use the occasion as a moment of sober reflection on the state of the nation and the collective role required to build a better future.
According to her, nation-building is a shared responsibility that cuts across all levels, from leadership to ordinary citizens.
The statement acknowledges the prevailing challenges facing the country, including insecurity and economic hardship, but emphasized the need for resilience and optimism.
It expresses confidence that with unity of purpose and sustained commitment, Nigeria can overcome its current difficulties.
The Labour Party leader also stresses the importance of accountability in leadership, while urging citizens to uphold values such as integrity, hard work, and patriotism.
It further encourages Nigerians to recommit themselves to the ideals of peace, unity, and progress, using the Eid celebration as an opportunity to reflect on the nation’s journey and the contributions required from every individual to move it forward.
