The Federal Capital Territory Administration has been urged to apply some caution in the ongoing demolition of structures across the six area councils of the territory.
The President, FCT Baptist Conference, Reverend Gwana Dogara gave the advice while speaking with News men on the 10th anniversary of the conference.
Rev Dogara who noted that some of the affected residents were retired civil servants, stressed that the impact of the exercise could result in death.
While commending the FCT minister for the ongoing massive road construction and rehabilitation, the Baptist Conference President said the efforts opened up many roads and put an end to incessant gridlocks in parts of the territory.
Reversed Dogara, however, stressed the need for the FCT Minister to also consider the provision of affordable housing and transportation system for residents.
On the current economic impact on Nigerians, the Baptist Conference President emphasized on the need to consider citizens during the implementation of government policies as Nigerians no longer find it easy to make ends meet.
He assured that the four days conference of the church would give more attention to prayers and better ways to ammelirate effects of the current economic impact on Christains and non Christains in the federal capital territory.
