The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced that repair works on the Kara Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway are set to resume fully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, following a brief suspension due to traffic gridlock.
Federal Controller of Works in Ogun State, Layi Komolafe, said the replacement of expansion joints on the bridge’s outbound Lagos section is critical and appealed for coordinated support from the Federal Road Safety
