Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has inaugurated a major infrastructure drive in Guyuk Local Government Area with the flag-off of the eight-kilometre Banjiram–Chikila Road.
The project was launched during the governor’s visit to the area as part of his ongoing grassroots engagement across the state.

He also announced plans to construct a two-and-a-half-kilometre township road within Guyuk to improve internal road connectivity.
Governor Fintiri used the occasion to address longstanding concerns of residents in Bobini and Bodeno wards, who have reportedly lived without electricity for decades.
He assured them that their communities would be connected to the national grid within six months.
In addition, the governor directed the Commissioner for Water Resources to expedite work on an ongoing water project and confirmed that the second phase of upgrading the Guyuk Cottage Hospital to a General Hospital would soon begin.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to equitable governance, stressing that development projects would not be influenced by political affiliation.
Local government officials and community leaders commended the state government for its infrastructure interventions, describing them as impactful for the people of Guyuk.
