The Director General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Dr Mohammed Bulama says the future of Nigeria lies in the hands of the youths.
Dr. Bulama stated this at the 15th anniversary of the Niger Delta National Youth and Development Stakeholders Forum in Akure.
Dr. Bulama who was represented by the Zonal Director, FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station, Mr Dominic Mokikan said it became imperative to support the youths noting that they would compete favourably with their counterparts elsewhere if provided with the wherewithal
The Director General advocated positive aspirations for young people in the Niger Delta region
Dr Bulama added that Radio Nigeria would continue to project voices of the youths in relation to reducing societal ills.
Earlier , the minister of regional development, Mr Abubakar Momoh explained that President Bola Tinubu’s led administration was committed to addressing challenges facing the region .
The Chairman of the event and a don of entrepreneurial studies, Professor Sola Aliyu urged the youths to be committed to their dreams for glorious future .
The participants who pledged total commitment to the progress , peace and unity of the region and the nation at large however enjoined the government to promptly tackle various challenges affecting the Niger Delta Youths.
