Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has begun a statewide engagement with key stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, aimed at reinforcing party unity, cohesion, and dominance across the state.
Speaking on the engagement, the Director-General of Media and Communication to Governor Lawal, Nuhu Salihu Anka, said the initiative is designed to promote broad-based representation, inclusiveness, and effective participation of party members from all parts of the state.
He explained that the consultations provide a platform for in-depth discussions on political developments affecting both the party and the state, and enable stakeholders to collectively plan for future political activities.
Mr. Anka added that the ongoing engagement demonstrates that the PDP remains a strong and united political force in Zamfara, while also consolidating grassroots structures and internal harmony.
He emphasized that in the coming weeks, Governor Lawal will continue to host PDP stakeholders from all local government areas, giving them the opportunity to share concerns, advice, and assessments on political and developmental issues.
According to the media aide, the sustained engagement is expected to deepen party cohesion and reaffirm Governor Lawal’s unwavering loyalty to the PDP, signaling that the party in Zamfara State remains stable, vibrant, and well-positioned for effective leadership.
