More Agro-rangers are to be deployed in Plateau State to ensure safety of all farmers as the raining season approaches.
Governor Caleb Mutfwang made this revelation during the Ron Nation 2025 Cultural Festival, in Bokkos Mini- Stadium, in the state
Governor Mutfwang stressed that Government was determined to ensure farmers return to their respective farms, hence appealed to the people to ensure they become security conscious at all times.
He emphasized that the recent attack on some bereaved people of Ruwi community in the LGA was an act aimed at plugging the state into its sad old days.

The Governor who pledged to synergies with communities towards ensuring security and development, added that government plans to have a central committee, tasked to organize cultural festivals that would boost the state’s tourism potentials.
Mutfwang also called on miners in the Local Government to organized themselves into cooperatives to take advantage of government’s plans aimed at ensuring maximal utilization of the mineral deposits domiciled in their communities.

Oan his part, Chairman of the occasion and Secretary to the Government of the State, Samuel Jatua,
lauded the Ron Nation for forming a united front and encouraged them to embrace unity and engaging themselves in agricultural activities that would helped increased food security.
Earlier, the National President, Ron Cultural Development Association, Professor Stephen Mallo, commended Governor Mutfwang for his people oriented policies that would help promote socio-economic activities also stressed that the Ron Nation would not be deterred by the recent security breach.
In their separate Goodwill massages, Senator Representing Plateau Central, House of Representatives Member, representing Mangu/Bokkos, invited Traditional rulers amongst others, pledged to work towards the progress of the State and Identified culture as key to the unity of every ethnic nationality.
