Jigawa state government has expressed delight over the tremendous achievements recorded in the implementation of the 12 point agenda of the present administration.
Governor Umar Namadi stated this during the citizens engagement program held in Birnin Kudu local government area of the state.
He explained that the program, aimed at bringing people closer to the government, will also ensure that policies and programs executed meet the yearnings and aspirations of the citizens.
Namadi, therefore commended the people of the area for appreciating the projects executed by the state government and pledged to do more.
The Governor also assured that, he will study the document presented by Professor Abubakar Sani Birnin Kudu which contains the demands of the people of Birnin Kudu local government area.

Also the state Commissioner for works and transport, Gambo Mallam said government has awarded a contract for the reconstruction of the Birnin Kudu–Sundimina–Kiyawa road at the cost of 11.5 billion naira.
According to him, the work will include asphalt overlaying, construction of bridges and culverts, side drainage, and other necessary improvements.
