Nasarawa State Government has condemned the attack on Farin Dutse community of Nasarawa Local Government Area by armed men.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Affairs, Mr. Peter Ahemba in Lafia.
The statement emphasizes that investigation were ongoing and government is doing everything possible to bring the perpetrators of the act to book.
The statement commends the security agencies in the state for their proactive response to the unfortunate incident.
The statement appeals to citizens of the State to remain calm, peaceful and refrain from taking laws into their hands as Governor Abdullahi Sule is working closely with the security agencies to ensure that peace and security are restored to the affected community.
It expresses Government’s deepest condolences to families of the victims.
