Governor Dauda Lawal has initiated a statewide engagement with stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Zamfara State, aimed at strengthening party unity and boosting grassroots participation.
The series of meetings began on Tuesday at the Rescue Hall, Government House, Gusau, with stakeholders from Gummi and Maru Local Government Areas.

The Governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, stated that the engagement serves as a regular consultative process, reviewing political developments and addressing issues impacting both the party and the state’s development.
This initiative allows the Governor to interact directly with party leaders, exchange views on critical political matters, and strategize for the growth of the PDP and Zamfara’s progress. Over the coming weeks, Governor Lawal will meet with PDP stakeholders from all 14 local government areas of the state.

The engagement aims to foster inclusive leadership and participatory governance, highlighting the strength and cohesion of the PDP across Zamfara.
