In a bid to improve healthcare access in Adamawa State, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has commissioned the newly completed Fufore Cottage Hospital during a working tour to the local government area.
Governor Fintiri expressed his satisfaction with the project’s completion and highlighted that the hospital is a key part of his administration’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services to citizens.
He also announced plans for the hospital to undergo a major upgrade, transforming it into a full-fledged General Hospital.
The planned upgrade will allow the facility to offer secondary healthcare services, benefiting not only Fufore Local Government Area but also neighboring communities, including those in the Cameroon Republic.

Additionally, the Governor paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Fufore, Alhaji Sani Ahmadu Ribadu, who expressed gratitude to the Governor for his ongoing developmental efforts, especially the improvements seen in Fufore Local Government Area.
