Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has commissioned the Mayo-Belwa International Cattle Market and inspected ongoing works at the Mayo-Belwa Cottage Hospital, recently upgraded to a General Hospital.
During the visit, the Governor commended the Federal Government for its partnership in delivering the cattle market project and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustaining and expanding development initiatives across the state.
Governor Fintiri assured residents that his local government tour aims to engage communities directly, gather feedback on government interventions, and promote inclusive governance regardless of political affiliation.

The Governor also evaluated the pace and quality of work at the upgraded hospital, emphasizing the administration’s focus on improving healthcare and community welfare.
Local leaders, including the Mayo-Belwa Council Chairman, Umar Nashon Gubi, and the state assembly member, Musa Kallamu, praised the Governor for the visible development and positive impact of his administration in the area.
The visit underscores the government’s commitment to participatory governance and infrastructural development at the grassroots level.
