The organizers of the Groovy December Festival have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Digital Strategists Limited, as project managers for the 2025 edition.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Program Coordinator of the Groovy December, Dr. Kenneth Ibe-Kalu in Abuja.
According to the statement, under the agreement, Digital Strategists will handle consultancy and management services covering tourism, hospitality, motorsports, and entertainment.
It says the initial contract is for six months, with a possible two-year extension if the company delivers on its commitments.
The statement explains that part of the deal includes overseeing motorsports racing events, in collaboration with a team of professionals from Abuja nominated by the festival committee.
It adds that the scope of work also covers pre-festival activities, vendor management, VIP experiences, and special packages for diasporans.
According to the statement, the organizers say the festival will run for sixteen days in December, with the aim of positioning Abuja as a major year-end tourism destination.
