A pro-government civic group “Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” has inaugurated state coordinators across the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, with a renewed focus on strengthening grassroots communication and citizen engagement.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Abuja, former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Hajia Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, charged the coordinators to deepen engagement at the community level and serve as effective communication channels between government and citizens.
She described their appointment as a responsibility anchored on service and accountability rather than personal recognition, urging them to function as strategic links between national leadership and the grassroots.

Hajia Ramatu conveyed the goodwill message of the Founder-in-Chief of the movement, Barrister Seyi Tinubu, and assured members of his continued support.
She emphasised that nation-building requires unity, sacrifice and sustained public enlightenment, particularly in explaining key policies under the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to her, misinformation and policy misinterpretation often stem from communication gaps.
She therefore tasked the coordinators with simplifying government policies, organising town hall meetings and fostering dialogue to enhance public understanding.
In his remarks, the National Coordinator of the movement, Mr. Ahmed Bala, described the inauguration as a strategic step toward strengthening the organisation’s operational structure nationwide.
He acknowledged the support of the Grand Patron, Senator Dr. Alphonsus Igbeke, and the Matron, Hajia Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, for their guidance.
Mr. Bala urged the coordinators to uphold the group’s core values of unity, collaboration and purposeful leadership, noting that grassroots mobilisation remains essential to national development efforts.
Speaking on behalf of the coordinators, Member representing Idah Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr. David Zachariah, said their selection was a call to service.
He stressed the need for leaders to interpret government policies in relatable terms, particularly for rural communities.
He cited the removal of fuel subsidy as an example of a reform that requires clear explanation to enhance public understanding of its intended benefits.
The movement reaffirmed its commitment to promoting citizen engagement and supporting national development initiatives in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
