Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has been included in the Premier League Team of the Week, Prompt News reports.
Iwobi was recognised for his superlative display in Fulham’s 3-1 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Sunday.The selection was compiled by the authoritative statistics website, WhoScored.The 29-year-old registered a goal, and an assist against Sunderland.
Iwobi’s corner-kick was nodded home superbly by Raúl Jiménez for the game’s opening goal.
The former Arsenal star scored Fulham’s third from a sweet counter attacking move in the 85th minute.
It was Iwobi’s third goal of the season for Marco Silva’s side.
His teammate Jiménez was also included in the Team of the Week.
