The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has advised candidates preparing for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, to verify approved Computer-Based Test, CBT, centres before registration and examination.
The Board says only centres listed on its official portal are accredited to register candidates and conduct the examination, warning that any centre not on the list is not approved.
JAMB notes that over the past two years, it has intensified enforcement of operational and technical standards, leading to the suspension and delisting of centres that failed to comply with examination guidelines.
According to the Board, some centres delisted in 2024 and 2025 have not regained accreditation and are absent from the 2026 approved list.
Centres removed in the 2025 cycle and not reinstated include Adventure Associate in Kano State, Saadatu Rimi College of Education CBT Centre also in Kano State, and Soronara Ventures Nigeria Limited in Imo State.
Similarly, centres delisted in 2024 and still absent from the 2026 list include Ola Unity Children’s School CBT Centre and Command Day Secondary School CBT Centre in Lagos State, Beijing International School CBT in Kaduna State, Ateko Digital Technology CBT Centre, and Lincoln College of Science, Management and Technology CBT Centre in Abuja.
JAMB advises candidates to confirm the status of any CBT centre on its official website to avoid complications during registration and examination.
