Jigawa State Government has expressed appreciation to the Ganduje foundation for conducting free eye care and surgery to one thousand patients in the state.
The State Governor,Malam Umar Namadi stated this during the closing ceremony of the Eye care program held at Sambo Hospital Dutse, the state capital
He explained that government and people of the state are highly happy with the effort of Ganduje foundation in health sector.
In his speech, the Acting National Chairman of the All progressives congress APC, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje said, the foundation embarked on social services in the areas of health,education, religion among others for the past eleven years.
Earlier, the state Commissioner of Health, Dr Abdullahi Kainuwa pointed out that, the state government has employed over 2,190 permanent and pensionable health workers across the state.

Dr. Kainuwa noted that, the state government has established kidney dialysis center in Hadejia,Gumel, Kazaure and Dutse for free services.
He added that, the present administration also expanded over seven billion naira on the provision of health equipments, construction and renovation of facilities to improve the quality of health care services in the state.
