Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly lining up a move for Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali following his departure from Chippa United.
The 29-year-old shot-stopper is currently a free agent and is said to be attracting interest as Chiefs seek reinforcement in goal after first-choice goalkeeper Brandon Petersen underwent appendix surgery.
Nwabali gained prominence after his performances for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire and is regarded as one of the top goalkeepers in South Africa’s top-flight league, having made 66 league appearances for Chippa United.
The potential move highlights ongoing squad adjustments by Kaizer Chiefs as the club looks to strengthen key positions ahead of upcoming competitions.
