Over five hundred people are to benefit from free Medical Out-Reach organized by the Save-Space Huminitarian Innitiative and sponsored by the Katsina state first lady Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Radda.
Flagging off the exercise at Comprehensive Health Center Dutsinma, the first lady Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Radda said the exercise is aimed at reducing the burden of medical cost people battling with when settling their medical bills and to have quality health at their door steps.
Represented by the wife of Katsina State Chief of Staff, Hajiya Maijidda Andaje said various ailments are going to be diagnose and giving the patients necessary drugs while some with complicated issues would be referred to secondary facilities.
She advised the patients to coordinate themselve in an orderly manner so as to achieve their goals adding that each patient will receive free drugs and wo spergetti and urged them not to sell the commodities.
Hajiya Zulaihat further explained that, those with sickle cells Armenia are being treat each last monday of the month in three senatorial zone of the state which comprises Katsina, Daura and Funtua and it is also free.
Earlier, in his welcome address, the Yandakan Katsina District Head of Dutsinma Alhaji Sada Sada, represented by the Yariman Dutsinma Alhaji Amadu Abubakar commended the effort of the state governor for his timely support to Dutsinma local government area.
In an interview, the beneficiaries commended the effort of the first lady for choosing Dutsinma local government area in executing the exercise and assured to use the gesture judiciously.
