The Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has inaugurated 21 Local Government Coordinators of the Renewed Hope Initiative, aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation and promoting public awareness of government programmes.
The inauguration took place at the Presidential Banquet Hall in Birnin Kebbi, where Governor Idris expressed satisfaction with the initiative.
He said the coordinators would serve as key channels for communicating the policies, programmes, and achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration to local communities.
Governor Idris assured the ambassadors of the state government’s support, pledging an enabling environment for the coordinators to carry out their duties effectively.
He emphasized Kebbi State’s commitment to active participation in federal projects and programmes, to maximize development opportunities for residents.

In his welcome address, the Kebbi State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, retired ACG Sambo Gwandu, noted that the coordinators would mobilize grassroots support for both the President and the Governor.
He highlighted the positive impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda, citing improvements in agriculture, reduced food prices, and social intervention programmes such as the Student Loan Scheme and enhanced National Health Insurance coverage.
The inauguration of the coordinators marks a significant step in promoting civic engagement and ensuring that development policies reach communities across Kebbi State.
