The Kwara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to economic empowerment and inclusive growth at the Pre-Ramadan Trade Fair organized by the Muslimah Entrepreneur Business Forum in Ilorin.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, represented by the Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, Damilola Adelodun, said the fair reflects his administration’s vision of a resilient, business-friendly economy driven by local capacity and innovation.
He praised the forum for supporting Muslim entrepreneurs, promoting ethical business practices, and creating opportunities for networking, innovation, and commercial growth ahead of Ramadan.
The governor emphasized that initiatives like this not only prepare citizens economically for the festive season but also stimulate small and medium-scale enterprises, generate jobs, and strengthen community ties.
AbdulRazaq assured continued government support for women and youth-led businesses, urging traders and consumers to fully engage with the fair while leveraging technology and skills development to ensure sustainable competitiveness in local and wider markets.
