Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang says reconciliation and forgiveness have been identified as basic ingredients needed for the positive transformation of every society.
Gov. Mutfwang stated this at the Burial Service and Final Internment of Late Lieutenant General Jeremiah Useni retired, held at the Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN RCC, Langtang North Local Government Area.
Addressing the congregation at the funeral service, the Governor noted that though the state would miss the deceased service to humanity, however expressed satisfaction that the retired General ended his entire life advocating forgiveness and reconcilation.
Governor Mutfwang prayed that his death would mark as a stepping stone towards the unity and prosperity of the state and charge residents of the state to embrace unity.
He also used the occasion to appreciate people across the country for their support to the family and the state during the entire period of his illness and eventual death.
Earlier in a sermon, the Guest Preacher, Bishop Josiah Fearon, encouraged people to always listen to God’s instruction and ensure they follow His will for their life.

The Cleric warned religious leaders against misleading their followers and for politicians to desist from all acts of deceit.
In various tributes including that of the family, uncles, Langtang Traditional council, Late Abachas’ Family, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, the Presidency and Church all lauded the career achievements and philantropic nature of the deceased, prayed for his repose.
