The new Director-General of the National Board for Technology Incubation, NBTI, Engr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji has pledged to transform Nigeria from grassroots technology to digital technology.
Raji made this commitment while assuming office as the New Director General of NBTI at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
He vowed to prioritize staff welfare, boost morale, and create a more productive work environment.
“Currently you are doing a grassroots technology that is like a traditional technology and electromechanical in nature. But today we are going to advance from electromechanical technology to digital technology, so that Nigeria will not be left behind committee of all nations” Raji stated.
Raji underscored the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving the organization’s objectives.
He urged them to work cohesively to drive technological advancement and foster economic growth across the country.
Raji also acknowledged the efforts of his predecessors, including Dr. Patricia Chukwu, and expressed his intent to build on the solid foundation they established.
He outlined plans to collaborate with key stakeholders, including sub-national entities, to ensure the success of NBTI’s initiatives.
Meanwhile, the outgoing Director General, Dr. Patricia Chukwu, welcomed the new DG to the agency, explaining that the agency cuts across the whole nation with the potential of addressing the challenges of Nigerians.
“It is a grassroot project that at the end of the day if we are able to put in our best, our people will able to benefit from the dividend of democracy.
She therefore urged members of staff to support the new leadership to ensure that the goal of the agency is achieved.
