The Director General of the National Board for Technology Incubation, Dr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji, has congratulated Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh on his appointment as new Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology.
In a statement, Dr. Raji expresses confidence in Dr. Udeh’s capacity to advance innovation and technological development across the country.
The statement reaffirms NBTI’s commitment to supporting the ministry in promoting technology-based entrepreneurship, particularly among youth and women, in line with the Federal Government’s vision for inclusive growth.
According to the statement the Board looks forward to working closely with the new minister to strengthen Nigeria’s innovation ecosystem and boost economic development through science and technology.
It adds that Dr. Udeh’s appointment follows the resignation of Mr. Uche Nnaji, who stepped down recently.
According to the statement, his remarks, the new minister pledges to prioritize innovation, research, and technology-driven solutions, in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He emphasizes that science, technology, and innovation remain key tools in tackling national challenges such as insecurity, unemployment, and underdevelopment.
