The New Commissioner of police in Kano state, CP Ibrahim Bakori, has vowed to enhance the security of lives and property in the state.
CP Bakori made this known while addressing newsmen at the command Headquarters in Kano
He said his priorities include tackling Thuggery and Crime.
Bakori identified thuggery, fadan daban, mobile snatching, and drug abuse among youths as major concerns.
He pledged to collaborate with sister agencies to achieve desired goals, saying the command will not relent in organizing In-House Training To enhance the effectiveness of police personnel,with a view to enhance maximum Security.
“The Commands plans to conduct in-house training. This will equip officers with the necessary skills to curb all forms of crime.”
The new Commissioner emphasized the importance of community policing, aiming to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the public.
