The new Kano State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Shafi’u Abdulmumini has assumed duty.
Outgoing State Commandant, Mohammed Lawal Falala, handed over the mantle of leadership to Commandant Abdulmumini, thanking God for a successful tenure and urging officers and men to cooperate with the new leadership.
In his address, Commandant Abdulmumini solicited support and cooperation from the command’s management and personnel to achieve greater success.
He noted that Kano is a second home to him and pledged to vigorously pursue policies protecting critical national assets, infrastructure, lives, and property of Kano residents.
Commandant Abdulmumini, an indigene of Katsina State from Dayi, Malumfashi local government, takes over as the new helmsman of the NSCDC Kano command.
