Federal Government through the Ministry of Finance has signed an agreement with the United Nations Office for Projects Services, UNOPS for the commencement of Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project NEWMAP -European Investment Bank EIB projects in Nigeria.
The National Project Coordinator of NEWMAP-EIB, Doctor. Anda Yalaks announced this in a message to the various State Project Coordinators across the country.
According to Doctor Anda, the project has met one hundred percent requirement towards immediate disbursement of funds.
According to the National Project Coordinator of NEWMAP-EIB, the project is to be declared disbursement effective by the European Investment Bank, EIB leading to project start-off.
A statement by the Nasarawa State Communication Officer, NEWMAP-EIB Mu’azu Madaki quotes Dr. Anda Yalaks as saying the State Project Coordinators would be communicated in due course by the National office on the next line of action.
