President Tinubu is set to commission the newly established Institute for International Studies and Diplomacy on campus, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra State.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Student Engagement, Comrade Sunday Asefon in Abuja.
According to the statement, Asefon paid a visit to the school Vice Chancellor, alongside the SUG President and the NANS South-East Zonal Coordinator, for a tour to the Centre set to be inaugurated tomorrow.
It states that the students expressed enthusiasm and deep appreciation for Mr. President’s visit and his continued initiatives in the education sector.
It adds that they pledged to organize a solidarity and thank you rally in honor of his commitment to advancing education in Nigeria.
“This historic event will marks the President’s first visit to our campuses, particularly with the choice of UNIZIK, a university named after Nigeria’s first President, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe” he states.
