Nigeria Police Force has commended Jigawa state government for utmost show of concern for the security of the state.
The Assistant Inspector of Police AIG in charge of Zone 1, Ahmed Ammani stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Umar Namadi at government house Dutse, the Jigawa state capital.
AIG Ammani appreciated the numerous supports Governor Namadi is giving to the police and other security agencies operating in the state.
He described Jigawa as one of the peaceful states in the country.
According to him, since assuming office as the AIG in charge of Zone 1, he has never received a report of serious crimes from the Jigawa State Command, attributing that to the governor’s indefatigable efforts towards securing the state.
The AIG equally used the opportunity to condole the governor over the passing of his mother and son, praying for the deceased.
