The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has commended the Nasarawa State Government for its ongoing renovation of Lafia Township Stadium to meet national league standards.
Chief Operating Officer of the NPFL, Mr Davidson Owumi, led a delegation to inspect the work, praising the quality, especially in the VIP sections, while urging the state to address a few observations for full compliance.

Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr Yakubu Kwanta, said the renovations reflect Governor Abdullahi Sule’s commitment to sports and youth development, adding that Nasarawa teams will soon host home matches without relocation.

Ongoing upgrades include dressing rooms, toilet facilities, electrification, VIP rooms, media gallery, and installation of benches for reserve players and officials.
