The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Nasarawa State Command, has arrested three suspects for allegedly impersonating military and police officers.
The suspects were apprehended following credible intelligence and sustained surveillance by operatives, according to the command’s Public Relations Officer, Jerry Victor.
They were found in full military and police uniforms, claiming to be security personnel.

Mr. Victor warned that impersonation poses a serious threat to public safety, undermines national integrity, and creates opportunities for criminals to harass, intimidate, or defraud unsuspecting citizens.
He assured the public of the command’s commitment to rid the state of criminal elements and urged residents to avoid acts that could breach peace.
The NSCDC spokesperson confirmed that the suspects will be charged to court immediately for prosecution.

Items recovered from the suspects include complete Nigeria Army and Police uniforms, along with dangerous items allegedly intended for illegal activities.

The command called on residents to remain vigilant and provide information on suspicious individuals or groups to enable swift action by authorities.
